AquaLine™ represents yet another innovation by Pentair. By listening to the marketplace and working to understand the specific needs of critical applications, such as RO membrane protection, we were able to develop technologies that provide some of the best solutions in the industry. The AquaLine™ system enables lower capital cost, lower operating costs, smaller equipment footprint, and fast, easy change outs.
Lower Capital Cost
AquaLine™ systems utilize CodeLine™ FRP housings, which can provide a 50% reduction in capital expenditure over typical steel vessels. The savings could be even more significant when compared to special lined vessels or vessels made of exotic metals. In the long term, these FRP housings practically eliminate the eventual corrosion maintenance cost that's encountered with most other types of vessels.
Lower Operating Costs
The key to AquaLine's™ performance is our advanced separations technology. Our high tech media, such as Polyform® and Microform®, deliver the efficiency and performance required. The extended surface of the media provides longer element life, which means fewer change outs for our customers.
| AquaLine™ Element Specifications | |
| Removal Ratings (microns) | 0.5 to 70 |

| Element Diameter (cm) | 17.15 |
| Element Length (cm) | 102, 152 |
Faster Change Outs
Not only are the number of change outs fewer, but they are also much faster and easier thanks to our innovative design. Now, you don't need heavy equipment, such as cranes, to open vessel doors or remove cumbersome baskets. Access to the AquaLine™ filtration elements requires virtually no tools. The elements themselves are self-guiding during installation and retrieval, and there are no center posts that could cause contamination during change out. Plus, the modular design allows for sequenced change outs to eliminate downtime.
- Easy-to-remove, toolless retaining ring,
- Convenient handle on the cover plate,
- Ergonomic handle on the element for easy entry and exit,
- Patent-pending tabs that guide the element for quick, assured alignment.
Smaller Equipment Footprint
As mentioned above, the CodeLine™ FRP housings used by AquaLine™ are modular, which means no more large, stand-alone housings. Their similarity to typical RO housings means that they could be positioned in vacant RO skid locations, making the most efficient use of space. And, because of our media technology and element design, a separate AquaLine™ housing skid would take up far less floor space than a traditional vessel of the same flow. In addition, the elimination of the need for heavy lifting equipment could free up even more valuable floor space.
The Right Choice
Lower capital cost, lower operating costs, fast and easy change outs, reduced footprint, and the performance that industry trusts. Whether you're in the planning stages of a new plant or you're looking for an efficient, cost-effective upgrade to an existing application, we will work with you to develop a system that performs for you.
